Policy Advisor of LPC Mr. Michael Meadowcroft
Michael's long service as a City Councillor, County Councillor and as a Member of the British House of Commons provides the College with experience of British public life and politics at all levels. In addition, for the past twenty years he has been an international expert consultant on political and public life in new and emerging democracies. He is in demand from the United Nations, the European Union and other international bodies for help and advice on parliament, elections and on democracy in general. He has led or been a member of over fifty missions to thirty-six countries. He has a particular relationship with Bangladesh stemming from his first visit there in January 1972.
His articles and books on politics and current affairs are archived on his website, which also describes his lifelong involvement with the jazz world - including extracts from his three CDs!
